Freeze the selling unit
Confirm retail set, display pack or carton. Record units per inner pack and master carton. Marketplace minimums and single-package measurements are references for discussion, not the final packing specification.
Calculate from confirmed cartons
For centimeters, multiply carton length, width and height and divide by 1,000,000 to obtain cubic meters. Multiply by carton count. Pallets, weight limits and loading conditions affect practical capacity; calculated volume is not a guaranteed container load.
Create an approval sequence
Record sample review, artwork approval, testing where needed, production release, inspection and dispatch. Identify who signs off each step. Review the schedule when quantity, packaging or specifications change.
Separate readiness from arrival
Production completion, cargo handover and warehouse arrival are different dates. Agree delivery basis, named place and responsibilities in writing. Confirm freight arrangements and destination requirements for the actual shipment.
Keep a shipment reference pack
Retain the packing list, approved references, carton marks, inspection record and shipment documents. For discrepancies, identify SKU, batch, carton and quantity with photos. Claims procedures and remedies belong in the agreed order terms.
